Fuqing China :)

I have been called to teach 9-14 year old children in Fuqing China! I am very excited, as all of you can imagine, to embark on this journey of a lifetime. :)I have attached a picture of the school so you can all see. :) There is also a picture of the dorm I will be living in with other BYU students. :)I will leave anywhere from Jan 26-29th and will not get back to North Carolina until the very end of June. I'm feeling lots of very mixed emotions right about now! I'm nervous about whether or not I'm going to make a great teacher, yet I'm excited that I have this opportunity to grow and learn from my mistakes. :) I'm a bit afraid about coming out of my comfort zone and being somewhere completely foreign, but I'm very happy at the same time since I'm going to accomplish my dream! I know that this is not going to be easy, but I know I will learn lessons that I will take with me the rest of my life. Mixed emotions all around right?
Overall, I am really looking forward to having my own classroom. I'll be able to help inspire and teach those children something they are going to take with them the rest of their lifetime-the good ole' English language! :) What do you think? If you have any suggestions or know anything about the area that you are willing to tell me, just let me know!
